Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will:
• Provide overall management of their allocated services
• Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of care pathways through the service including triage, assessment, treatment, and discharge of children and young people and their families
• Ensure the service is delivered in accordance with national and local policies, priorities and regulatory frameworks and meets all performance targets.
• Work in partnership with Heads of Profession and other clinical leads, to maintain a culture within the service of excellence in clinical standards and safety.
• Operate as a leader within the multi-agency network of children's services, to ensure the service is delivered as part of an integrated system to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people.
• Ensure the service is delivered to meet key performance targets.
