Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Post Graduate Qualification in Management / Leadership (working towards or achieved) or equivalent relevant experience

Desirable criteria

  • Advanced IT Skills - ECDL or equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Experience within a business/operational focused role
  • NHS experience
  • Experience of working in a changing environment
  • Experience of service development
  • Staff management

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of personal accountability for service delivery

Skills, Knowledge & Ability

Essential criteria

  • Leadership skills
  • Advanced communication skills, verbal and written
  • Knowledge of operational performance targets
  • Experience in staff training and development
  • Numerate, innovative with good analytical skills

  • Demonstrate ability to draw information from a range of sources in order to make a contribution to service development
  • Understanding of NHS infrastructure
