Operations Excellence Manager

As the Operational Excellence Manager you will be responsible for leading and implementing the strategy of operational excellence in our Grid Technologies GS (Substation and FACTS) Business. This role will focus on improving efficiency, reducing waste, and applying lean methodologies along with digital tools to drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement throughout the business.

As a valuable member of our leadership team, you will actively drive the success of our business and excellence of our services provided to our customers. You will be in active, direct and continuous exchange with your team members, peers, colleagues and decision-makers throughout the organization.

How you'll make an impact:

Implement business strategies, plans, and procedures to promote operational efficiency across the organization.

Developing, implementing, monitoring of operational excellence metrics, and driving continuous improvement of our processes with the help of lean methods and digitalization tools.

Creation of process visibility and process automation through the use of low-code tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Mendix, UIPath).

Facilitate communication between team members, managers, and executives to ensure the implementation of the business's operational strategies.

Drive the implementation of Lean methodologies and practices in the project business.

Collaborate with partners to understand their requirements, ensure deliverables are met, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Lead and handle change initiatives related to business processes and technologies.

Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Promote and live a culture of open exchange, promote the creativity of our authorities and support the transformation process.

Identification and reduction of cyber security risks as well as increase of cyber security awareness

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.

Proven experience in an operational role within the energy sector, preferably in grid technologies.

Proven understanding of lean methodologies and operational excellence principles.

Excellent leadership, team management and change management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to handle, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate operational processes are being used.

A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

Strong commitment to providing superior service to customers and driving business results.

Customer orientation and quality awareness

Affinity and first experience with low-code tools and programming languages desirable (Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI)
