As a Communications Coordinator, you will collaborate across the business to plan, review, edit, and deliver operational communications to colleagues.

You'll bring strong content expertise, transforming stakeholder input into simple, clear, and engaging communications that reflect the Tesco brand and voice. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, you'll confidently advise on communication principles, branding, and tone of voice, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all messaging.

  • Annual bonus scheme of up to 10% of base salary.
  • Holiday starting at 25 days plus a personal day (plus Bank holidays).

You will be responsible for
Partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver simple, concise, and high‑quality operational communications to colleagues through the most effective channels

Building strong relationships with teams and leadership to ensure the right content reaches the right colleagues at the right time

Creating and delivering daily and weekly communications to colleagues across the group

Producing engaging content across a range of digital platforms

Developing, editing, and delivering communications plans for all projects landing in stores and distribution centres, ensuring all impacts and audiences are considered

Reviewing and maintaining content on the Tesco Help site, ensuring information is accurate and queries are resolved in a timely manner

Acting as a trusted expert, advising stakeholders on the most effective communication channels and providing specialist guidance to support impactful delivery

Ensuring all communications align with agreed branding, tone of voice, and expression

Managing tight deadlines to ensure timely delivery of reactive communications

Taking a journalistic approach, probing stakeholders, asking the right questions, and shaping messages for maximum impact

Continuously seeking opportunities to simplify and improve communications through knowledge sharing and best practice

Maintaining a strong understanding of the business, staying up to date with current and future systems

Supporting team collaboration by covering across areas and proactively contributing to team activities

You will need
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content layout skills, with the ability to create engaging digital communications

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Confidence in building relationships and networking across the business

Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively

Good working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel

A solid understanding of a retail environment, including store and distribution centre operations and structures

Experience in stakeholder engagement and working with multiple functions

A proactive and innovative mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement

A journalistic approach to communications, able to ask the right questions and shape impactful messaging
