Our Home Delivery network is integral to the success of Currys and our customers' happiness. Through our 18 Customer Service Centres (CSCs) and out base sites across the UK and Ireland, with teams of over 1000 colleagues and 600 Delivery Partners, we engage with our customers directly 364 days of the year come rain, sun and snow.

We believe our Home Delivery experience can be improved by standardising processes and ways of working by implementing a 'One Best Way' for Home Delivery, covering everything that happens under the roof of the CSC, and all key functions and processes feeding into it.

As an Operational Change Control and Planning Manager you'll ensure that we coordinate and plan all activities across our Home Delivery network to maintain and enhance our change control process, ensuring changes are appropriately delivered to colleagues balancing business priorities, performance improvements, cost savings with colleague experience.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Project managing initiatives through the full governance cycle
  • Keeping our Home Delivery colleagues at the heart of all decision making, influencing and governing stakeholders at levels
  • Providing leadership and coaching to the wider teams
  • Becoming the air traffic control for all our activity and workload ensuring we land reporting and highlight risk with our colleagues and wider business in an efficient and timely manner
  • Monitoring change adoption to understand the best ways to deliver and embed change in the operation, making reactive recommendation as needed and over time, building a best practice toolkit for different types of change
  • Keeping close to end users of change to understand how they are feeling and to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Highlighting trends and opportunities to Leadership teams for ongoing improvement

You will need:

  • Proven experience in change management or similar role
  • Experience of leading, owning and managing change plans
  • To be a proactive communicator at all levels
  • Good business acumen, coupled with analytical skills to address complex issues
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills
  • Demonstrable resilience and a pro-active attitude
  • Full valid UK driving licence and able to travel to all of our sites in UK and Ireland
