The trading team are the drivers of pricing and offers for our Mobiles.co.uk and e2save.com brands across a range of categories. As the Trading Manager you will be responsible for driving category performance working closely with a team of channel leads with a focus on growing and developing our refurbished category. Reporting on in-week performance, developing an effective trading team, growing our refurbish handset category and working with the senior trading manager on our long-term plans and strategy.

The mobiles.co.uk challenger brand continues to dominate the pureplay mobile market and complement Currys connected mobile strategy. Experts in e-commerce, trading and multi -channel marketing the mobiles.co.uk brand has a rich legacy spanning over 25 years. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
• Managing the in week trading performance for all of our mobile categories across both of our brands.
• Supporting the senior trading manager with long term trade planning and development
• Managing and develop a trading team
• Owning and developing our refurb category creating and implementing a trade plan whilst working along side our central team to source the required stock
• Reporting back to the wider business on performance
• Working with the central mobile team to plan and implement commercial changes
• Working with the insights and analytics team to monitor trade performance and to support with the continued development of reporting and analysis
• Working with our marketing team working on specific offers for each of our channels whilst also communicating commercial and price changes
• Working with our contact centre to communicate commercial changes and improve performance

You will need:
• Previous experience in an Online Trading role
• Strong commercial acumen with experience driving performance
• Experience managing and developing a team
• Experience working with reporting software such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong communication skills.
