Online Merchandiser

About the roleAs an Online Merchandiser, you’ll be curating the online merchandising experience for our customers and ensuring they have the very best omnichannel shopping experience with us.

You’ll identify online trading priorities, opportunities and challenges and execute a trading plan through the implementation of optimisation changes and influencing marketing activities.

You'll also need to use your expert knowledge of online merchandising systems and tools to surface, brief and manage content briefings, online campaigns, and product promotions.

  • Salary - £32,600.00 - £50,500.00 
  • Contract type - This position is a temporary contract until January 2027
  • Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. 
  • The Online Merchandising team aim for around 2 days a week to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings. 
  • Location - This role is a hybrid role home location is Bracknell
  • Interview Dates: Week commencing 15th December 2025

Key Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing category trading performance against agreed sales targets
- Identifying areas of risk, maximising sales opportunities, and actioning optimisations to drive the trading plan for your category whilst delivering a brilliant customer experience
- Implementing changes across search, navigation, and content on all devices to drive sales and conversion.
- Promoting products and brands, ensuring they are showing up online and through online marketing.
- Liaising with Buying and Merchandising Partners and working collaboratively with the wider trading team.
- Managing the online merchandising for key seasonal moments and campaigns including creating new landing pages where appropriate 

Essential skills/experience you'll need

  • Previous E-commerce Merchandising experience

  • Digital awareness - understands the the interplay between online metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV) and knows how to drive performance across these levers 

  • Detail orientated & highly numerate 

  • Commercial acumen 

  • Previous experience of cross functional working & building relationships across teams

Desirable skills/experience you may have

  • Web analytics 

  • Search and browse merchandising
