In my role, I consistently deliver high standards across both retail and Post Office operations. I achieve green scores in audits and mystery shopper visits, ensure accurate promotions, and provide excellent customer service. I support business growth through strong product knowledge, effective cash and compliance management, and by promoting add-on sales. I lead my team with a focus on performance, training, and values, ensuring all targets are met while maintaining a safe, customer-focused environment.

You will be responsible for

  • I report potential losses, hazards, and ensure compliance with POL rules and regulations.
  • I attend training courses and have action plans in place to improve any Red/Amber feedback.
  • Absence is kept below 3%, and return-to-work interviews are completed.
  • I recruit effectively, filling vacancies within four weeks, and manage people issues within required timescales.
  • My AOM provides positive feedback on my people management, and staff are paid correctly and on time.
  • I hold regular performance discussions, develop talent, and address underperformance professionally.
  • I drive my own development, share communications and best practices, and keep my team informed of targets and performance.
  • All staff complete Regulatory Compliance Training, and cash declarations are accurate and timely.
  • We work together as one team, treat each other with respect, and live the company values.
  • I am BRAG-rated green on my performance review and ensure the safety, health, and welfare of colleagues and customers.

Pre-Employment Requirement
All successful candidates must complete a P250 background check before starting in the role. This check is conducted by Post Office Ltd and is a mandatory part of the onboarding process.
