Your Role:
Helping the UK Oncology team shape our business priorities and drive strategic decisions with regards to Webinar, CRM, RTE and Social Media channel engagement, innovations and insights generation and ensure its efficient execution to realize business value and to show a joined up approach to our interactions with customers. Develop the omnichannel plan and be an expert in the underlying processes to help drive the omnichannel customer journeys (Webinar, RTE etc) supporting the customers by enhancing their contact with Merck in addition to their interactions via the field teams. Ensure a close working relationship across all oncology functions and act as the point of contact between the commercial and technical operations and provide support to increase local and global capabilities. Embrace customer-centric operating model to drive mindset and culture change across all the brands in the oncology portfolio to ensure we are continuing to innovate and extend our reach. Identify and share best practices, promote learning from another, create synergies across the brands. Establish, evolve and implement guidance and policies for operations aligned with other business partners.

Who you are:

  • Ideally 4+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 2 years in digital & multi-channel marketing & operations, preferably in the area of Virtual Events/Webinars, social media and Multichannel campaigns.
  • Demonstrable expert in field of Digital Customer Engagement in pharmaceutical industry ideally with experience in oncology solid tumour therapies.
  • Ability to solve problems based on analytical thought and complex judgement which requires in-depth knowledge of the market and experience in multichannel marketing
  • Broad business knowledge of IT ecosystem and latest development/ innovation around marketing technology and integrated customer journey
  • Proficiency in autonomously work in a cross functional team and in a dynamic environment
  • High listening and reformulation skills to identify & serve internal customer needs and ability to explain complex, technical, or even difficult situations to others in a comprehensible way
  • Excellent project management skills with proven ability to drive projects
  • Solution and results oriented with proven ability to support cross-functional projects. Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
