Role Purpose:
This role is the operational glue at Climate Action, working with all departments to ensure the business is set up for success.
About the Role:
As an Office & Programme Manager, you will drive operational efficiency and organisational effectiveness across the business.
You'll support recruitment, provide administrative support to directors, oversee office operations, and lead team initiatives.
Working across all departments, you'll identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and implement AI and technology solutions that enable teams to focus on their core work, and perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Include but not limited to:
- Collaborate with HR and Hiring Managers to execute people/culture initiatives
- Assist directors with scheduling, correspondence, and administrative tasks.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including facilities management and administrative processes.
- Plan and execute team-building initiatives that maintain a positive work environment.
- Support with sales administration, optimizing CRM processes, and designing and creating high-impact sales materials and presentations.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure value for money across our technology stack and wider business spend.
- Develop and implement AI-driven and technology-enhanced initiatives to boost business performance.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
- Experience in a similar role/environment (we're circa 20 employees during a phase of growth)
- Ideally experience in media, events, and/or a climate-related business
- Proactive, adaptable, problem solver.
- Outcome oriented and able to take own initiative
- The ideal candidate will be available to start ASAP!
Interview Process
The process is typically a Teams Video call, followed by a F2F interview with the hiring manager, and finally, meeting our CEO/Founder Nick Henry.
