The Role

We're seeking a self-motivated and highly organised Office Manager / Security & Administration Coordinator to join the Nuclear division in Altrincham. This varied and rewarding position combines office management, facilities coordination, and security vetting administration, ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage employee and contractor vetting and security clearance processes (BPSS, CTC, SC) in line with client and government requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and liaise with client security teams and external partners.
  • Track, renew, and update clearances proactively.
  • Work with IT to manage access permissions and maintain secure systems.
  • Ensure the office environment is well-organised, safe, and efficient.
  • Act as the main point of contact for facilities, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Manage office budgets, expenses, and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and health & safety compliance.
  • Provide administrative support including filing, scheduling, and document control.
  • Arrange meetings, travel, and training bookings as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in office management or administration.
  • Prior exposure to vetting or security processes is advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking ability.
