Job Description
We are on the lookout for an experienced and proactive Office Manager to oversee the smooth running of our growing London office, with occasional travel to the Milton Keynes office. This role requires a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude to ensure a productive and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities include
Office Operations & Administration:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a well-organized and efficient workplace.
- Oversee office supplies, equipment, and facilities, liaising with vendors and service providers.
- Ensure the office environment is maintained to a high standard, addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
People & Culture Support:
- Act as the first point of contact for office-related queries and support a positive workplace culture.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring they have everything they need for a smooth start, including seating plans.
- Support office events, celebrations, and team-building activities.
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure the office adheres to health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks and risk assessments.
- Act as the designated contact for fire safety and first aid procedures.
- IT & Facilities Coordination:
- Work closely with IT and external providers to ensure smooth tech operations in the office.
- Manage access control, security passes, and office space planning.
About You:
- Proven experience in an Office Manager or similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- A confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels.
- Comfortable managing budgets, office expenses, and vendor negotiations.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and office management tools.
