*8 am - 3.30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
We are looking to appoint an Office Manager to work in our busy school office.
We are a small, rural primary school in an idyllic part of Suffolk. We have 41 pupils on roll. We pride ourselves on teamwork and positive attitudes to learning; we have high expectations of ourselves and of our pupils, which drives us all to achieve our potential. We are looking for someone to join our hardworking team of staff and to be another positive, warm and welcoming face for our families.
Purpose of the Role:
To be responsible for the school office, the school financial, HR and administration systems. In addition, you will provide the Headteacher with a full and comprehensive administrative service to enable the school to deliver and sustain education excellence.
You will:
- manage the school office administrative functions, enabling teaching staff colleagues to enhance their effectiveness and help them to achieve and constantly improve standards of learning and achievement
- help to promote the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and work with the Central MAT team to ensure the most effective use of resources in support of learning objectives
- attend Governors' or other Leadership team meetings as required
- be highly organised with excellent interpersonal skills
- have the ability to work across a number of disciplines (such as Finance, HR, Premises)
- be experienced in the use of IT packages
- be positive, confidential, and resilient
- have school office experience.
