The Role of Office Manager
The Office Manager duties would include;
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing Health & Safety and Quality policies and ensuring staff follow these regulations
- Set up of procedures and processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Overseeing internal auditing
- Evaluate, improve efficiencies and increase profitability across the business
- Overseeing the collection and issuing of KPI statistics to management in accordance with company deadlines
- Overseeing corrective and preventative actions plans to ensure these are efficiently managed and implemented as appropriate
- Managing multiple supplier contracts and ensuring records are kept up to date
- Completing sub-contractor questionnaires as appropriate
- Assist with the completion of Tenders and PQQs
- Ensuring company compliance with regulatory and accreditation bodies
- Oversee all training requirements whilst managing the budget
- Managing a busy administration function
- Assisting the Directors with administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as required
About you
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience managing a fast faced office environment. You be a solutions finder who is willing to make decisions and implement effective change. As Office Manager, it is essential for you to liaise across departments therefore you should be approachable and an excellent communicator. To succeed in the role, you will need to be flexible to manage ad hoc responsibilities as required.
Essential:
- Previous experience of compliance management relating to Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Management
- Being assertive with an ability to implement improvements throughout the business
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Working on your own initiative with minimal supervision
- Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office including SharePoint and Teams
- Ability to be flexible and manage ad hoc projects when requested
Desirable:
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- ISO 45001 & ISO 9001
- Previous experience working within the TM industry
