Office Manager

Overview

This is a key role within the organisation, as this individual will be the main face of the business greeting internal and external guests to our Glasgow office, and plays an important role in ensuring health and safety is adhered to and helping our staff maximise their full potential by ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the office.

This is role office based 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

Office Management

  • Responsible for stationary orders and office sundries budgets
  • Arrange Health & Safety, Annual/Quarterly and monthly testing across the office
  • Meet and greet guests
  • Office tours
  • New Starter welcome packs order and distribution
  • Maintain up-to-date documents re. contract notice dates, health and safety, access card lists etc
  • Order and set up weekly office lunches

Facilities oversight/management

  • Liaison with Building Management on infrastructure (Air conditioning, communal toilet facilities, lighting, fire safety)
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers and maintenance and oversee routine maintenance

Office Communications

  • Be the office go-to for all colleagues, visitors and new starters
  • Keep the office up to date re. lunches, maintenance, events, calls for action.
  • Weekly meetings with the office managers in other locations to ensure uniformity and transparency across offices

Organising and Managing Events

  • In conjunction with senior leadership team, organise office socials and the end of year party
  • Arrange logistics for any DEIB led office initiatives
  • Decorate the office for holiday celebrations
  • Arrange charity fundraisers via a JustGiving page

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills, have a can do attitude and experienced in organising and managing events.

Package

- £30,000 + annual bonus
