Office Manager - Infrastructure
Location - Halifax, West Yorkshire
What you will be doing:
We have a fantastic career development opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join the team on site in Halifax.
As Office Manager, you will contribute to the project in Halifax by creating a safe working environment by managing office operations, including document control and visitor coordination.
You will build relationships with key stakeholders within the company while gaining exposure to initiatives such as FREDIE and supporting the implementation of internal health & wellbeing programmes, in line with company policies and external compliance requirements.
You will:
- Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
- Assist in document control.
- Manage the project procurement process for supplies in line with the divisional processes and commercial best practice.
- Manage visitors to site and arrange briefings and company personnel as guides.
- General day to day management of the offices ensuring standards of cleanliness are maintained, meeting rooms and facilities are controlled, and office supplies are maintained as required.
- Build long term relationships with Clients, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- To assist the Project Manager in implementing initiatives on site such as FREDIE
- Ensure the timely reporting of information in line with internal company and external client requirements.
- Ensure safety regulations, inspections and testing are carried out at Project Offices (eg PAT testing, Fire Drills and Inspections)
- Assist where required in the engagement with the public and local stakeholders through drop in sessions, open days, newsletters and school visits
- Establish and manage the projects complaints and compliments procedure and reporting
- To work in compliance with the current safety legislation and the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
- To participate in the Challenging Beliefs Affecting Behaviours initiative
- Ensure the site fulfils all obligations for external compliance audits.
- Identify or assist in the introduction new processes, techniques and innovations on site
- Manage stationary, IT and other office consumables for the project
- Manage Wellbeing, Health Surveillance and other Group initiatives within the project team.
