Role responsibilities:
- The day to day running of the nursery
- Ensuring Ofsted Statutory requirements are met.
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times.
- Assist in recruitment of staff
- Support the development of existing and new staff within the setting.
- Showing around prospective parents will be a vital aspect of your role
- Being passionate and enthusiastic about the setting.
- Managing and monitoring the occupancy of the setting using marketing techniques to promote the setting.
- Effectively managing budgets.
- Design and implement an effective curriculum and support, coach and mentor the team in the delivery.
- Ensure policies and procedures and company expectations are embedded within the nursery
- Support the nursery with growth and ensure occupancy is a focus.
Requirements:
- Minimum level 3 qualification in child care
- At least 2 years experience in nursery management.
- Able to demonstrate competence in meeting the developmental and emotional needs of the children
- Hands on approach in the day to day childcare and willingness to lead by example
- Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills which meet and exceeds the expectations of the parents and the company.
- Can work on own initiative by being self-motivated.
- Ability to work within a wider team
- Knowledge in health and safety and safer food better business guidelines
- Able to time manage self and team.
- Have strong I.T skills and able to use or willingness to use multiple computerised systems.
- Strong skills in literacy and numeracy
Salary: - negotiable depending on experience.
