Your Role
Capgemini Engineering is on the lookout for talented Stress Engineers with a background in aerospace or marine engineering and a sharp eye for non-conformance. If you're ready to work on high-impact projects, solve real-world challenges, and grow your career in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment-we want to hear from you.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Assess non-conformances and determine impact on component and system performance using hand calculations and FEA.
- Prepare engineering justifications for concessions and repairs, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and quality standards.
- Perform a range of structural analyses including stress, fatigue, and life assessments, with clear reporting of results.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams, presenting findings and supporting design-for-manufacture decisions.
Your Profile
- Degree-qualified in engineering or a related discipline, ideally mechanical, with experience in stress analysis for airframe or aero-engine systems.
- Familiar with aerospace manufacturing, producibility, and concession processes.
- Strong communicator and team player, able to work accurately to tight deadlines.
- Comfortable liaising with specialist teams and reporting at multiple levels.
