Night Manager

THE ROLE
As Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operational running of the whole hotel throughout the night. You will act as a Manager on Duty and be a point of contact for any issues or guest enquiries should they come up. Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:
- Be accustomed to working day and night shifts; 4 on; 4 off.
- Oversee the smooth operational running of the hotel throughout the evening and in absence of the Front of House Manager.
- To act as a manager on duty for the hotel and to deal with and resolve any complaints, problems, disturbances, special requests, or any other enquiries.
- Have a complete understanding of budget and targets for your department and ensure the entire team are working hard to achieve them.
- Responsible for ensuring that our guest profiles are up to date, room allocation is in line with the Nobu strategy and all VIP banding prepared.
- To be comfortable working evenings and to manage all those working the night shift ensuring all team members complete tasks assigned to them.
- To offer strong leadership, mentoring, and guidance to your team in all areas of reception, guest relations, and VIP experience.
- Oversee the general upkeep of public areas, i.e. toilets, main foyer and porch and all lighting levels.
- To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.
EXPERIENCE
- Night Manager experience ideally within a 5* Hotel.
- Experience of OPERA or similar reservation systems.
