Job purpose:

Based at our Union office in Manchester, you'll plan and deliver a content and social media strategy, delivering full campaign managemen t across multiple channels for a community of over 50,000 integrated into over 100 buildings across the UK.

With the support of a Senior Social & Content Executive, agencies, freelancers and internal support (marketing/design/commercial teams) you'll strategise and manage content plans to achieve commercial outcomes.

What we're looking for:

• Experience of pulling together and planning Content & Social strategies based on business objectives
• Ability to manage and brief internal colleagues and senior leaders as well as agencies and freelance content creatives to produce content across a variety of mediums
• We're open to different industry/agency backgrounds, however B2B content experience is essential
• The ability to create engaging stories for a diverse portfolio of assets
• Reporting experience, ideally GA4, but open to other tools used
• Experience of creating and editing long form content including thought leadership pieces

What you'll be doing:

• Lead the development and implementation of an integrated content and social media strategy, designed to amplify the brand story, products and services through written and visual communications across channels
• Lead the management and optimisation of our own brand communication channels to drive engagement, growth and performance improvements across existing and new channels
• Manage news gathering across the portfolio on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
• Develop content strategies and tone of voice documents which ladder up to overall brand proposition, and be a guardian of tone of voice guidelines
• Manage the SEO and thought leadership content creation with external agencies, and assist in the management of this for Bruntwood Group
• Develop monthly and quarterly reports based on brand and commercial objectives utilising data from GA4 to showcase direct referrals from social and blog posts
• Manage the senior Senior Social Media Executive, developing their skills and ensuring timely delivery of plans and content
• Your own content creation where necessary inc. video (script, briefing), graphics, blog writing
• Writing guest blogs for senior leadership team for external publications when necessary
• Planning, development and execution of company-wide video projects with senior stakeholders in the business and external shareholders
• Lead and evolve our social media strategy, planning and execution across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok
• Work alongside the paid digital team to create social-first content to embed across paid campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn
