National Sales Manager

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

We are for a National Sales Manager to join our organisation and play a pivotal role in leading a team of Key Account Managers and the strategy for growth. This role will aim to maximise opportunities to drive the companies sales objectives.

Leadership and Strategy

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth and market expansion.
  • Set targets and monitor performance to ensure goals are achieved. Provide feedback to the team and make necessary plan adjustments.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment that encourages professional growth
  • Oversee the development and execution of sales proposals, presentations, tenders, and contracts.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Understand client needs and devise solutions to meet requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to sales and company strategies.

Sales and Revenue Growth

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Identify areas of improvement in sales strategies with a view of establishing actionable insights for the improvement of sales and business profits.
  • Analyse data and trends to drive sales opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand market presence.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track and analyse sales performance and trends within the industry.
  • Continuously improve business development strategies based on performance data and feedback.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to sales and company strategies.
  • Life science graduate (desirable)
  • PMCPA representative's exam pass
  • 3-5 years' experience in management within the pharmaceutical field
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Analytical with commercial acumen
  • Customer engagement skills- the ability to understand systems, processes and resources available internally and bring in the right expertise at the right time to drive commercial sales success locally
  • Ability to apply understanding of the Health Care environment and adapt to the changing customer needs
  • Commercial signatory (desirable)
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills
