Responsibilities

  • Deliver transformational growth in the AFH channel through developing:
    • Recreation & Travel strategically important customers (VUE, Merlin, SSP, Delaware North, Freemans)
    • Define the strategy to pivot resources into growth sectors as AFH Recreation, Leisure, Events, Lodging and Travel channel continues to evolve in a dynamic environment.
    • Support on refining & embed a regional model to develop customer base in partnership with RTM teams.
    • Lead the internal and external agenda for PEP owned Foodtrucks, a highly strategic important pilar of growth in the UK AFH channel.
  • Build a strategic agenda with your customers incorporating Multi Year JBPs with the aim of growing our core business and expanding our brand footprint.
    • Collaborate with finance to build clear revenue models and align with Vending, Rec & Travel CBM, AFH Director and Impulse Finance Controller to define the metrics.
    • Own the, Rec & Retail scorecard", own tracking and course correction procedures for own customers and direct reports
    • Work with ESSA/US colleagues to leverage scale at a global level to open up local opportunities.
  • Leverage all categories and portfolio.
  • Maintain and develop strategic partnerships through World Class Customer Engagement (WCCE)
    • Lead Top-to-top (T2T) interactions with your customers.
    • Drive the day to day agenda with both a short term and long term lens.
  • Identify new business opportunities throughout the wider Recreation, Leisure and Events channels.
  • Develop direct reports into sector specialists, i.e. Leisure, and lead the agenda in these sectors throughout AFH.

Qualifications

  • Success in a commercial role.
  • Strong drive for results with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture.
  • Cross-functional experience in order to leverage internal partnerships.
  • Experience managing change: understands the measures required to drive sales performance of an organisation.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills: ability to drive agenda within both customer and PepsiCo environment.
  • Working with, or within, a major national food service customer (not essential).
  • Working with customers to identify needs and deliver winning solutions.
  • Commercial expertise to turn opportunities into commercial solutions for both businesses.
  • Autonomous leadership of customer management & engagement.
  • Leadership skills, to include coaching and development of future talent.
