Multi-Skilled Operational Partner – Sample Hub

About the roleTake the lead working in a Warehouse Operation assisting the team to deliver in all receiving, storage and despatch tasks ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time ready to be delivered to John Lewis customers and branches using manual handling equipment and the appropriate systems whilst providing excellent customer service.

Role: Multi-Skilled Operational Partner

Location: Origin Park CDH (Customer Delivery Hub)

Weekly Hours: Full time hours of work (37.5 hours per week) between the hours of 10:00 - 18:00, working Monday - Friday.

Rate of Pay: £13.99 per hour.

About the Role: 

  • Our Multi-Skilled Operational Partner’s are a vital part of our Warehouse operations. You will assist in ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time, ready to be delivered to John Lewis Customers and branches. 

  • As a Partner your autonomy will allow you to take ownership of every product from the start to the end of the supply chain journey.

  • You will be using manual handling equipment and the appropriate systems whilst providing excellent customer service.

  • You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching Partners of varying ability to achieve their personal development goals. Not just for the team but for yourself and your career.

Desirable experience skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse role involving the movement of caged stock and manual handling would be an advantage, as would working in a retail environment.

  • Basic computer skills are required to use our stock control system.
