We are looking for a Multi-channel Senior Merchandiser to join our Head Office team in Bury!

• Job Title - Multi-Channel Senior Merchandiser

• Location - BL9 8RR

• Working rota - Mon-Fri

• Working hours - 40 hours a week

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Multi-Channel Senior Merchandiser, you'll be doing the following:

• Drive JD Sports Multichannel offering forward, ensuring that stock availability is maximised, and the site is visually merchandised with content, navigation and user experience appropriate to the customer. Deputising for the merchandising manager with a good knowledge of managerial responsibilities

Planning

• Be aware of the Buying and Retail marketing activity and create trading plans to drive online marketing activity to reflect the strategy.

Trading

• Review previous week's performance and propose and agree actions for the week
• Review daily sales identifying areas of weakness, proposing and taking action to increase sales and ensuring optimal stock availability
• Monitor live sales to identify fast sellers on the day and act as required to maximise sales
• Work closely with the trading lead forecasting sales
• Identify underperforming lines and categories and propose actions to improve sell through
• Check all stock in the DC is available on all channels and take actions as required
• Propose stories and products to be promoted on the site and through social channels
• Review product attributes to ensure that site navigation, filters and collections are optimised working with the copywriters to achieve
• Continually review merchandising of site searches, navigation and listings and proposing actions when required to maximise sales
• Review the new in list ensuring the site is representative of key products
• Check all marketing spots are being utilised to maximise sales whilst staying consistent with the store activity to maintain the brand identity
• Review top on site searches with merchandisers, action Fred Hopper rules to improve results and conversion
• Assist with Partner Program onboarding, attending trade meetings with brand teams
• Work closely with the wider teams from Buying & Merchandising and Multi-Channel

Teamwork

• Reports to the Multi-Channel Merchandise Manager
• Establish working relationships with divisional Buying & Merchandise teams, Multi-Channel and Marketing teams.
• Trains and develops Multi-Channel merchandising team members

What We're Looking For:

• Good knowledge of excel
• Experience working with merchandiser software
• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• Commercial brand awareness
