Exciting Opportunity: Moorings Supply Chain Manager

Salary: between £30,000.00 to £35,000.00 per annum

Location: Inverness

Hours: 39 hours

Gael Force Group is a global supply partner of equipment, technology, and services for the farming and catching of healthy, nutritious seafood. Aquaculture is the largest sector we supply with the ability to provide a full turnkey solution to sea based fish farms.

What is the job role?

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Department Head in the process, coordination, and growth of our moorings sales. You are also responsible for assisting in managing designated stock and product categories, handling sales orders for the Aquaculture and leisure moorings ensuring world class customer service to our customers, developing effective and strong relationships with both Suppliers and customers of Gael Force Group.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

• Excellent Customer Service skills with a high level of interpersonal skills and a confident communicator
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet the daily demands of the role either working alone or as part of a team
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications, skills in Excel, Word and mail merge are of particular importance
• Adaptable and flexible whilst working in a busy multi-site environment
• A competent and efficient Administrator with excellent attention to detail
• The ability to learn the Moorings product list and each component and technical data relating to those components

Desirable:

• Previous experience of working as a Supply Chain Administrator with buying and negotiating experience
• Understanding the need for confidentiality when dealing with both internal and external information
• Working knowledge of supply chain / procurement information systems
• An aptitude for understanding technical information and engineering drawings
• Any experience in Engineering, Logistics and Stock Control would be highly beneficial
