This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week based in the Royal Mail London Farringdon office (EC1A 1AA).

If you are an experienced modelling analyst with a consultancy background, strong technical leadership and a passion for mentoring, we would love to hear from you. As our Modelling & Analytics Manager, you will support a talented team as we move toward scalable, cloud based modelling solutions.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Business Modelling, you will lead, support and mentor a team of modelling analysts, setting the technical direction and promoting best practice in data management and analytics.
You will also:
• Lead technical solution design and deliver analysis at scale with a focus on driving business value through actionable insights
• Work with Technology teams to shape SQL and Python based analysis pipelines and cloud workflows
• Translate business problems into clear technical requirements
• Validate datasets, scenario models and business logic
• Communicate complex insights in clear, accessible language for senior stakeholders
• Produce high quality datasets, reports and dashboards for pricing, performance and operational decisions
• Champion data governance, access control and consistent documentation standards
• Identify data issues and opportunities to improve processes and pipelines
About you
We are looking for a confident, commercially focused individual who brings:
• Thought leadership in transforming data into business insight
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python or similar tools such as Qlik or Power BI
• Experience applying best practice in cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery
• A track record of leading analysts or developers working with large, complex datasets
• Strong analytical and modelling skills, with the ability to combine diverse data sources
• Understanding of data governance, privacy and access control principles
• Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex analysis
