About the Job you are considering:

We are seeking a seasoned Migration Lead to drive the end-to-end transition of the Collections Recoveries capability from Tallyman to the SDM platform Strategy Decision Management. The role spans strategy design data migration platform builds integration cutover and post go live stabilization with a specific focus on credit cards portfolios prime subprime retail cobrand You will partner with business ops risk strategy technology and vendor teams to deliver a safe compliant and value accretive migration without customer detriment or operational disruption

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

  • Own the migration plan phased vs big bang scope and critical path across environments Dev Test UAT Pilot Prod
  • Stand up programme governance RAID change control design authority and reporting to Steer Co
  • Define and manage entry-exit criteria for all stages SIT UAT ORR go no-go
  • Lead vendor and third-party coordination platform provider dialer IVR comms vendors bureaus
  • Translate collections operating model into SDM strategy constructs segmentation treatments queues workflows champion challenger and hardship journeys
  • Map Tallyman capabilities to SDM equivalents identifying gaps and remediation extension options
  • Define treatment orchestration for cards SMS IVR letters email agent queues self-service fee interest handling promise to pay re-age roll rates and cure logic
  • Ensure compliance with FCA GDPR PCI DSS vulnerability customer detriment safeguards and Responsible Collections practices
  • Lead data discovery and profiling customers' accounts delinquencies strategies promises queues balances notes and audit
  • Define data lineage mapping and transformation from Tallyman schemas to SDM including history notes and active arrangements
  • Orchestrate migration rehearsals reconciliation and rollback strategy validate parity via golden datasets
  • Own integration design across cards core platforms e.g. Vision-PLUS, TSYS payments gateways comms services SMS email letters dialler IVR CRM MDM BIMI and risk decisioning
  • Ensure real-time batch interfaces SLAs and retry poison queue patterns are robust define monitoring alerting observability dashboards
  • Drive performance resiliency and failover testing capacity planning for peak cycles statement billing collections peak
  • Coordinate security reviews AppSec data masking key management SOX controls and operational readiness runbooks on call KT
  • Define end to end test strategy SIT UAT NFT performance resilience AB and champion challenger validation for strategies
  • Track KPIs post go live roll rates cure rates Promise to Pay adherence agent handle time NPS complaints and operational SLAs
  • Engage Risk Operations Compliance Legal Finance and Tech stakeholders align outcomes with business case and conduct risk appetites
  • Drive training comms and change adoption for collections agents and support teams
  • Provide clear executive level status updates and options analysis or financial services'

Your Skills:

    Proven delivery leadership of large-scale decisioning or collections platform migrations (Tallyman experience is a strong plus).
  • Strong understanding of Collections & Recoveries processes, segmentation, workflows, and treatment strategies.
  • Expertise in SDM, decision engines, workflow automation tools, and credit risk systems.
  • Experience with card portfolios - prime, sub-prime, retail, and co-brand.
  • Strong grounding in data migration methodologies, mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory & risk frameworks in consumer lending and Collections.
