Location: Manchester
Type: Full-time | Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

A well-established design practice with a strong reputation for creating inspiring and functional workplace environments is looking to welcome an experienced Interior Designer to their Manchester studio. Known for their thoughtful approach and high-quality delivery, this team works with forward-thinking clients to design workspaces that are both strategic and people-focused.

You'll join a collaborative environment where designers, strategists, and project managers come together to deliver exceptional interiors-from initial concept through to technical detail and site implementation. With a growing portfolio of office fit-outs and refurbishments across the UK, this is a chance to contribute to design-led projects that are shaping the future of work.

Your Role:

  • Lead the creative process on workplace interiors projects-from early-stage briefing through to delivery
  • Produce concept designs, layout planning, mood boards, and FF&E selections
  • Prepare and coordinate detailed drawing packages using AutoCAD
  • Liaise directly with clients to understand their business goals and translate them into design solutions
  • Work closely with technical, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout
  • Attend site visits and contribute to on-site design coordination when needed
  • Support pitch development and present design ideas with clarity and confidence

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in commercial workplace design, ideally within a D&B or consultancy environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, along with working knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong space planning and concept development skills
  • Good understanding of building regulations, construction detailing, and workplace ergonomics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and deliver to deadlines
  • Comfortable leading client presentations and contributing to strategic design conversations
  • A degree in Interior Design or a related discipline

What's on Offer:

  • A creative, design-led culture with a strong emphasis on collaboration
  • A chance to work on high-profile projects that blend strategy, design, and functionality
  • Career development within a growing team committed to excellence in workplace design
