To further the incredible growth of Lenovo's end user sales team, we are looking for an energetic and tenacious Sales Manager to lead the next phase of acquisition in this space. This is an exciting opportunity to guide a team of experienced sales professionals, drive collaborative projects with key strategic channel partners and oversee an outsourced offshore acquisition tele-sales organisation.

These sales teams focus on accounts within the Mid-Market segment, meaning a fast-paced solution orientated sales cycle. Using your passion for leadership knowledge around IT solutions and the training we provide you - you will be a key part in the continued growth within this business unit. Working as the Acquisition Sales manager you will have daily full responsibility for a team as well as the acquisition strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Providing training and professional development to your sales team
  • Creating sales goals and implementing initiatives to increase solution sales
  • Assisting sales team members to build quality relationships with customers
  • Collaboration with other company departments, such as marketing, finance and product specialists, to offer customer support
  • Owning and presenting the Acquisition Strategy to key stakeholders around the business and partner network
  • Driving an accurate pipeline and forecast with your team to hit multiple company goals
  • Generating regular progress reports
  • Building strong working relationships with our offshore tele-sales organisation to support their success
  • Handling escalated client objections and concerns to support other members of the sales team

Your Skill Set

  • Experience managing teams, complex customer sets or projects - we would consider someone looking for a step up from Team Lead / External Sales role
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build a working relationship with Senior Stakeholders internally and externally
  • Experience building and executing strategic acquisition plans
  • Comfortable working with large data sets in tools and systems like Qlik & Excel
  • Ability to coach and guide local and offshore team members and adjacent supporting employees to develop and deliver exceptional results
  • A proven track record of IT sales experience, would be a plus but not essential.
