About The Role

Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Micromobility Remarketing Manager. In this role, you will manage, develop, and enhance the commercial and strategic relationships with our Collections Agents and Buyback Scheme dealers to significantly increase sales revenues and asset utilisation.

  • Manage the Micromobility remarketing programme, to ensure that Motability Operations achieves the best possible returns on end of lease assets.
  • Review and renegotiate our collection contracts to increase competitive tension and maximise future options to accommodate all product types and provide scope to increase revenue.
  • Create an additional remarketing solution to enable bespoke assets to be remarketed on a sale/commission basis, to significantly enhance income.
  • Implement and manage a Micromobility Nearly New Scheme that facilitates the utilisation of high quality, high value products back onto the Scheme.
  • Manage and enhance the existing loan scheme, to ensure all dealers can utilise this continuous mobility support service, whilst maintaining cost controls
  • Work with the Customer Support Teams to reduce the number of uncollectable assets and product write offs.
  • Work closely with the Micromobility Manufacturer Relations Manager and Dealer Relations Manager to ensure our dealer and product suppliers recognise the strategic importance of increasing residual values.
  • Support the Head of Micromobility to develop and deliver a new strategic remarketing programme to deliver a breakeven sustainable scheme.
  • Work in partnership across the business to develop sustainable and commercially viable solutions for customers

About You

  • You're experienced in managing commercial contracts and relationships that drive and deliver excellent performance and optimal outcomes.
  • You have experience of selling used products and aware of how "days to sell" impacts financial and operational efficiency.
  • You are able to operate strategically and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver shared objectives and a sustainable scheme.
  • You're highly motivated and able to take ownership of the remarketing budget.
  • You are comfortable to work with data and insights to support your decision-making.
  • You deliver engaging meetings with suppliers and customers both digitally and face to face.
  • You can operate as part of a collaborative and effective management team

Minimum criteria:

  • Experience of remarketing products and increasing sales revenues
  • Experience of managing commercial contracts and influencing third party relationships
  • Experience of operating within a customer centric environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience of delivery within a challenging environment.
  • Experience of working at a senior level
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen

What we do

We lease a wide range of tailored mobility solutions to people who receive of one of the Government's qualifying mobility allowances. Our customers choose a car, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV), scooter or powered wheelchair that best suits their needs. We take care of their insurance, breakdown, servicing and more, as part of our worry-free package.

At the end of the lease, our customers can exchange their vehicle for a brand-new model. Each year we sell and move around 200,000 cars. This makes us the largest supplier of single-source vehicles back into the used car market.

The Scheme has been providing affordable, worry-free motoring for over 45 years. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service, with an independent customer satisfaction rating of 9.6 out of 10.
