Micromobility Dealer Partnership Manager

About The Role

Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Micromobility Dealer Partnership Manager to join our team based remotely on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will manage, develop and enhance partnership relationships with our dealers to drive performance and delivery of customer excellence.

  • Manage the Micromobility dealer network supplying products and services to the Motability Scheme
  • Mange our dealers to provide exceptional customer service to our customers and provide a gold standard 'in life' servic
  • Manage the Dealer Relations Account Manager team to commercially engage with the dealer network to deliver an effective partnership
  • Review and define the future dealer partnership model to effectively accommodate the significant increase in customers and dealers
  • Implement, manage and embed a new, streamlined and simplified Motability Dealer Partnership programme, that rewards dealers for service excellence
  • Work with our wider Customer Services teams to significantly reduce early terminations and service, maintenance and repair costs
  • Work closely with the Micromobility leadership team to reduce lease costs and improve affordability for our customers
  • Plan, budget and deliver the annual Dealer Partner Meetings, to ensure all dealers remain actively engaged stakeholder of the Scheme
  • Produce high quality reporting for the dealer network Micromobility leaders
  • Manage and support the delivery of the 'Big Event' programme, ensuring all dealers and manufacturers engage professionally and enthusiastically
  • Support the development, delivery and future capabilities of the Micromobility platform to deliver significant efficiency and enhanced benefits
  • Work in partnership across the business to develop sustainable and commercially viable solutions for customers

About You

  • You're experienced in managing others to drive engagement and performance
  • You deliver engaging meetings with partners both digitally and face to face.
  • You can operate strategically and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver shared objectives and a sustainable scheme.
  • You're a strong communicator who can build and manage relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • You're highly motivated and ready to take ownership for delivery of first class customer service, volume forecasts, scheme growth and budgetary control
  • You're keen to explore new ways of working, embracing the test and learn approach to find improvements and support Micromobility team success
  • You are comfortable to work with data and insights to support your decision-making.
  • You can operate as part of a collaborative and effective management team

Minimum criteria:

  • Experience of managing commercial partnerships and influencing third party relationships to improve customer experience and engagement
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience of operating within a customer centric environment
  • Proven experience of delivery within a challenging environment
  • Experience of working at a senior level

What we do

We lease a wide range of tailored mobility solutions to people who receive of one of the Government's qualifying mobility allowances. Our customers choose a car, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV), scooter or powered wheelchair that best suits their needs. We take care of their insurance, breakdown, servicing and more, as part of our worry-free package.

At the end of the lease, our customers can exchange their vehicle for a brand-new model. Each year we sell and move around 200,000 cars. This makes us the largest supplier of single-source vehicles back into the used car market.

The Scheme has been providing affordable, worry-free motoring for over 45 years. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service, with an independent customer satisfaction rating of 9.6 out of 10.
