Your role
The Sr. Functional Consultant engages and aligns our customers with MES software and industry best practices. Conducts workshops to demonstrate the MES functionality and facilitates business process mapping to standard User Stories exercises.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Lead customer alignment to MES capabilities and industry best practices, including business blueprinting, user story workshops, and As-Is/To-Be process design.
- Define, align, and create User Stories and Acceptance Criteria-covering both standard functionality and unique customer requirements.
- Support end-to-end MES deployment, including system setup, test case creation, execution, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Produce complete project documentation while mentoring team members and guiding project delivery activities.
- Contribute to product improvement by validating new releases, collaborating with the MES vendor on enhancements, and driving continuous innovation based on project learnings.
Your profile
- Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycle, database concepts, and integration design
- Practitioner of the Agile Frameworks Scrum and Kanban
- Understanding of multiple AI engines and their use / purpose
- Deep understanding of process mapping, modeling, and visualization tools & techniques
- Travel 30-40% of work time
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or engineering, business information systems, computing and information technologies, industrial/systems engineering
- Industry experience within the Aerospace sector and MES systems Passion for working with customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates strong analytical problem solving paired with effective leadership and influence to align stakeholders and drive shared business outcomes
