What you'll be doing

The project is based in the North of Scotland and the successful candidate can be based in the central belt of Scotland (Eurocentral) with travel to the Nairn site 2/3 days per month

The ideal candidate will be an experienced QS who has a track record in managing all costs and income within the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Sector. They seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.

Typically, they will be a Chartered Member of the RICS, ICES or CIOB. They will have experience of managing a small team of less experienced commercial staff as well as mentoring others on their journey to becoming professionally qualified. They will maintain their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Who we're looking for

The following qualifications or their equivalent are essential:

  • Experience in MEP delivery
  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent knowledge
  • MRCIS/MCInstCES/MCIOB or working towards them
  • CSCS Card (Professional Qualified Person)
