About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join our outstanding Major Projects team to work at our Old Oak Common development in London - join us and be part of the largest construction project in the UK.
HS2s new c. 1 billion Old Oak Common station will become the UKs best-connected rail station once completed. Our Balfour Beatty VINCI SYTRA joint venture will be responsible for the final design, construction, and commissioning of the station in Northwest London.
Upon completion, the new station will boast six underground platforms and up to eight platforms on the adjacent Great Western Main Line. Old Oak Common will also provide highspeed rail services to the Midlands, central London, Scotland, and the North, as well as direct services to three major airports. Incorporating passenger and retail facilities, the new station will provide an exceptional customer experience for both passengers and visitors to the station.
What you'll be doing
- You will form a key role within the MEPFC services team. A large volume of
documents, drawings and correspondence will be required to deliver the
Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Fire and comms systems as well as Lifts
and Escalators. - The team support a number of sub-contractors, the administration of document tracking / transfer between subcontractors is fundamental to achieving progress and delivery of the project.
- The person chosen for the role will be central to the receipt and transmittal of all
documents. - They will be responsible for communicating to the MEP team the weekly movement of correspondence and chasing the team to allow timely responses.
- The role will include the production of tracking documents and monitors and
progress reporting. - This is an opportunity for somebody to join the team to learn and develop both a

- Excel Competence
- You must be a capable and confident communicator, comfortable working in an
open, challenging, and collaborative environment - Familiarisation with document control systems
- Experience in creating and managing spreadsheet
