MEP Manager

Bouygues UK have an exciting opportunity for experienced MEP Manager to work on projects based in the West London area. In this role you will manage the performance of MEP contractors on site in line with Health and Safety, programme and quality as well as managing the package interfaces, tech subs etc. As the MEP Manager you will be working as part of a site management team and reporting to the Project Director. Your experience can be from an electrical or mechanical background and you must demonstrate proven capability of running a total MEP package of £16m, including main MEP package and several CDP packages.
Essential
Your skills profile should demonstrate the following:
- Procure, Manage the Design, Manage the Production until handover of the MEP packages, including testing and commissioning.
- Experience in managing MEP subcontractor and packages across separate sites/blocks.
- Proven experience in either Mechanical or Electrical areas
- MEP experience working with a main contractor or large MEP subcontractor
- Relevant Building Services qualifications (Mechanical and Electrical) are advantageous but not essential with appreciation and understanding of all related disciplines
- Strong attention to detail
- I.T. Literate
Job Purpose and Scope:
- To procure, coordinate, and supervise all M&E activities on site
- Managing all M&E activities works with an emphasis for:
- H&S
- Quality (As per BYUK's management system).
- Programme
- Liaise on a day-to-day basis with other trades.
