What we need from you:
The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of M&E bookings, ensuring exceptional guest service and maximising revenue opportunities.
Please see a summary of the responsibilities below. This list is not exhaustive:
- To manage all aspects M&E Office on a daily basis.
- To deliver budgeted M&E targets by maximising revenue and profit through increased conversion, maximising meeting room occupancy, and rate opportunities.
- To manage M&E enquiry booking process from enquiry through to confirmation in a timely manner, delivering outstanding customer service and by taking calculated risks.
- To ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, consistently delivering a professional service and building strong working relationships with our clients, resulting in repeat business.
- To manage individual and team performance.
- To participate fully in business reviews and meetings, with a proactive approach of driving the business.
- Positive working relationships to be established and maintained with colleagues across departments.
- Commitment to be displayed to training through participation, and sign off of training records, and application of learning in the workplace.
- Ensure an effectivity chase system is in place through the use of activities.
- Understand how and when the meeting space is being sold to support improved diary management, maximum meeting room occupancy and increased revenues.
