Job Description:

As a Retail Media Manager, your role will be focused around managing a team of Retail Media (RM) professionals, dedicated to producing the highest quality of work within agreed deadlines. You will ensure your team has the necessary tools and skills to maintain the highest standards in RM delivery, ensuring all of our clients' needs are met and expectations exceeded. You will take pride in your work, delivering best practice campaigns across key marketplaces such as Amazon, Tesco, Asda and more.

Success will be measured through improving account performance, growth in client investment in RM, internal audit scores, case studies, reduction in errors, client growth and client retention.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Develop and manage your RM team to an industry leading standard.

• Ensure deadlines are met, actively working on key accounts where necessary.

• Responsible for quality of all work output from your team across all clients; ensuring that it

conforms to agency best practice.

• Monitor client results and delivery against forecast & provide clear strategic direction on how

to improve performance.

• Challenge & interrogate briefs, ensuring delivery is of the higheststandard, on time and in line

with agency values.

• Implement and manage client process including reporting & finance.

• Be an expert in all relevant tools & technology.

• Build & maintain project and account development plans outlining all key tasks for clients.

• Ensure work is always in line with client's overall strategy.

• Accurately forecast potential delivery & ROI for existing & new clients.

• Contribute to the development and growth of the Retail Media product through project work

and information sharing.

• Help build and deliver training to both new starters and junior members of the team

• Contribute to the wider growth of the channel within Dentsu

Professional Skills

• Aptitude to build and maintain strong working relationships, both vertical and

horizontal.

• Ability to pre-empt issues and be creative and pro-active in producing solutions.

• A high degree of numeracy and literacy are essential.

• Ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines.

• Highly literate in MS excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Role Capabilities

• In depth knowledge of the Retail Media and Ecommerce ecosystem, with a focus on On[1]Site across our key retail partners. Keeping up to date with the latest trends, updates

and platforms.

• A sound grounding in digital media, with a good general understanding of how each

channel impacts one another. Particularly Content SEO and UX/CRO.

• Take accountability for quality of output and will actively measure and consider success.

• Expert in creating and managing processes.

• Effective in managing through others.

• Adaptable beyond the core aspect of the role.

• Role modelling our values and behaviours at all times.

• Strong people management skills

Key Experiences

• Experience working on at least one of Amazon Ads/Criteo/CitrusAd is preferred but not

always essential if you have other relevant skills and experiences and can demonstrate

how they can translate into the role

• 3+ years' experience in channel working at tier 1 agencies / clients or a Retail Media

specialised Agency (e.g. an Amazon Ads specialist agency).

• 1+ years' experience in team management and/or mentoring and coaching others.

• Experience gained working with the relevant technologies.

• Passionate about the internet and technology, with a keen interest in the development of PPC as a channel, keeping track of new developments within the industry.
