About the role

e have an exciting opportunity for a Media Channel Manager - Performance. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of media performance (digital and offline channels) to deliver media and commercial targets effectively and efficiently for the Freemans Brand. This is a critical role working across the end to end media process. This includes providing performance insights into media planning, managing the overall media budget, driving inflight optimisations, working with our analytics team on any media performance deep dives, providing weekly media and campaign level reporting, through to end of season wraps.

You will be working predominantly alongside the Head of Media, channel managers and media agency as well as feeding weekly and ad hoc performance updates into the wider business.

You'll be a commercially and results focused individual, with a good understanding of media (particularly digital channels) with the ability to tell a performance story up to senior level. You'll also be working in a cross functional team matrix so will need to be able to work collaboratively across multiple teams, including our media agency.

This is a hybrid role, working at least 2 days in the office with the remainder from home.

Role Responsibilities

  • Digital media budget planning and forecasting targets (Revenue, New customers, Media Spend, ROAS) working predominantly within the Media Team, Media Agency, our econometrics provider as well as Commercial Planning and Finance
  • Ensure budgets are spent in an effective and efficient way to maximise digital investment
  • Track performance against our KPIs and where we expect to end in order to address any shortfalls to ensure we deliver against targets
  • Track budget shifts to help explain performance
  • Working with the media channel managers to agree recommendations on budget shifts (and tracking them)
  • Weekly trading performance (Mondays) - reporting and commentary
  • Identify trends and provide deep dives into performance to drive improvement opportunities
  • Work closely with the Finance Team on budget management
  • Management and creation of Reporting dashboards
  • Responsible for Period end reviews and season reviews and financial year reviews - and making comments on all shift in activity
  • Quarterly Finance budget and re-forecasting
  • Billing - finance tracker management (keeping up to date) and PO management
  • To be committed to good outcomes for customers at all times

About you

  • Educated in Marketing, Fashion or Business Studies to A Level or Degree Level, OR have relevant experience
  • Proven experience of working in digital marketing for 5+ years
  • Ability to optimise investment and manage large budgets effectively (£M's)
  • Highly numerate and analytical - experience of using excel and web analytics tools
  • Articulate - a good storyteller able to adapt to more junior stakeholders up to director level
  • Experience of working with and managing a digital media partner
  • Understanding of on-site customer journey's
  • Strong project and process management skills
  • High level of drive and motivation
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy
  • Well organised and able to co-ordinate across departments and third parties
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Can work individually and as part of a team
  • Flexible when needed
  • Able to commute to Bradford city centre
