STADA UK Thornton & Ross - Master Data Manager

As the UK Master Data Manager, you will hold a strategic position to steer and lead the digital transformation and governance of our Master Data Governance (MDG), aligning with our ambitious objectives. You will collaborate with the Global CMD team to ensure that the governance frameworks established by the Global Master Data Alignment Project initiative are effectively implemented. Additionally, you will play a critical role in the enablement of SAP S/4 HANA Project, ensuring that these transformative technologies are smoothly integrated and utilized within our operational frameworks.
You will also be instrumental in supporting the business by educating stakeholders on master data management best practices and actively resolving any issues related to master data. This will involve developing training programs and support systems that enhance understanding and improve the handling of master data across the organisation. Your efforts will help ensure data integrity and consistency, which are critical to our organizational success and digital transformation strategy.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Establish governance aligned to Global STADA CMD: Develop and implement governance structures and processes that align with STADA CMD.
- Develop Data Owners & Data Stewards: Identify and nurture Data Owners and Data Stewards responsible for different data domains within the organisation.
- Assess data quality and integrity: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the quality and integrity of master data.
- Develop & execute data cleansing plans and new data reviews: Create and execute plans to clean and maintain data integrity, and review and update data as necessary.
- User training & awareness to build trust in the data: Promote user training and awareness programs to build trust in the accuracy and reliability of the data.
- Promote the use of SAP as the single source of truth into an SAP master data manager role: Advocate for SAP as the central repository for master data and fulfil the role of an SAP Master Data Manager by ensuring data accuracy and consistency across SAP systems.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience of SAP Master Data Management (SAP MDG preferred) as a User or IT admin role, and SAP Master Data Processes.
- Good understanding of architectural options for Master Data systems
- A positive & pragmatic leader who has experience in a Business Application Management delivery role, (with a high focus in SAP / ERP & digitalisation).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders.
- Robust organisational and project management skills, adept at multitasking and prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
- A champion of ethics who promotes integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism consistently.
