LOCATION

This role will be based in our Leeds office, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.

ROLE OVERVIEW

  • To lead the businesses Master Data function ensuring that all master data related processes/activities are adhered to, managed effectively, and delivered to the most accurate and highest standards.
  • Act as the business process expert in relation to MSD 365 master data, Arena PLM and wider interrelated systems. Drive a state of continual improvement throughout the master data function and to wider teams.
  • Lead a team of Master Data Specialists, ensuring they are supported, developed, and have all the resources required to enable them to perform their responsibilities in line with expectations.
  • Develop, maintain and continually improvement the ghdhair management system, whilst leading the analytical function within the wider project management team.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the main point of contact for any critical master data queries or issues to ensure they are dealt with effectively and efficiency by the correct stakeholders
  • Develop an accurate and reliable set of processes and requirements which encompass all master data and interrelated activities for example Master Data Tracking System
  • Create a set of toolkits which will aid in the delivery of the processes and ensure the wider teams have visibility throughout e.g. Master data tracking system.
  • Train, empower and guide the team to ensure that they are competent and can provide the expert delivery expected.
  • Manage the coordination and ownership of master data activities across separate departments. Liaising with the Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement Functions, Parent Company and Global Markets throughout the process.
  • Update the critical business master data tracker weekly, to ensure all stakeholders have access to an accurate and reliable source of tracking throughout the processes.
  • Report on and develop a set of KPIs and SLAs that can be established and enforced within the master data team.
  • Reporting within Power BI, tracking within Excel and process delivery utilising the Form, Planner, Automate and Teams functions.
  • Administer and manage the backend Arena PLM system, ensuring that the full range of capabilities are used across the business and are understood by the key users.
  • Lead third party supplier training on the PLM system, onboarding them to the functionality and working with them to make processes and system improvements to benefit both sides.
  • Act as a Procurement Support Function, ensuring adherence to vendor onboarding process, including uploading of correct documents and purchase pricing.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics 365,
  • Knowledge of Arena PLM and GS1 would be desirable.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience of working with Master Data and ERP Systems
  • Understanding and experience managing a QMS would be desirable.
  • Experience of tracking and analysing data.
  • Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
  • Organised and Versatile.
