Position Overview: A Resell Partner Product Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships with reseller partners to drive sales and revenue growth for a company. This role involves identifying and onboarding new reseller partners, providing support and training both with resell partner and internal sales teams as sales overlay to key internal products. This role with acts as a bridge between the company and its reseller partners, ensuring that both parties benefit from the partnership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Partner Onboarding:
    • Identify and evaluate potential reseller partners based on strategic fit and market potential.
    • Lead the onboarding process for new partners, including contract negotiations and agreement signings.
    • Develop and execute training programs to ensure partners have a deep understanding of the company's products or services.
  2. Relationship Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with reseller partners.
    • Collaborate closely with partners to align on sales strategies and objectives.
    • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and resources to help partners succeed.
  3. Sales Enablement:
    • Work with partners to develop sales and marketing strategies to promote the resell products or services.
    • Provide partners with sales collateral, product information, and other resources needed for effective selling.
    • Ensure partners are equipped with the knowledge and tools to position the company's offerings effectively.
  4. Performance Monitoring:
    • Track and measure partner performance against established sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
    • Analyze sales data and provide insights to partners to optimize their sales efforts.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Conflict Resolution:
    • Act as a mediator in cases of conflicts or disputes between the company and its reseller partners.
    • Work to resolve issues in a fair and mutually beneficial manner.
  6. Market Analysis:
    • Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments.
    • Provide feedback to the company on market insights and opportunities.
  7. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, agreements, and performance metrics.
    • Prepare and deliver reports on partner performance and revenue contributions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of proven experience in partner management, channel sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and internal teams.
  • Sales and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data.
  • Knowledge of the industry and products/services being resold.
  • Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and sales tools.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

The Resell Partner Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding the company's reach and revenue by effectively managing reseller relationships. This role requires a combination of relationship-building skills, sales acumen, and a deep understanding of the market and products/services being resold.
