Summary

    • Rackspace is looking for a Marketing Program Manager to develop and lead our Alliance marketing planning and execution for EMEA. The role is responsible for developing marketing programs and campaigns driving mutually beneficial demand and pipeline for our alliance hyperscale cloud partners. The role will focus on generating demand, creating pipeline and supporting relationships with our alliance partners. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in creating successful, measurable integrated marketing programs with partners to drive customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth. This role work collaboratively with the field marketing roles in UK, Germany, Northern Europe and Middle East & Africa as well as the campaigns and digital roles in the Public Cloud marketing team. They will also work with the Alliance Partner Managers and the hyperscale partner marketing people to plan, execute, and track marketing activities. The successful candidate will be data-driven and develop a robust cycle of KPI reviews and reporting to their alliance partner stakeholders as well as Rackspace leadership to demonstrate ROI.

Key Accountabilities.

    • Responsible for developing and executing the EMEA Rackspace/Alliance marketing strategy and the planning, enabling, monitoring, and reporting of the collaborative marketing programs and campaigns designed to achieve mutual business objectives.
    • Provides clear visibility into marketing performance of alliance programs and campaigns and the key factors influencing those results, via a regular cadence of review.
    • Leads cross-functional working teams to gather inputs for planning and ongoing campaign strategies.
    • Delivers sales play campaigns, sales and partner enablement assets and partner programs in response to market drivers and business needs
    • Reviews and shares ongoing results, celebrating success and formulating corrective actions to address performance gaps as needed
    • Collaborates with product marketing, alliance managers, sales teams and the alliance partner marketing people to source campaign narratives, and messaging.
    • Aggregates and develops content aligned to campaign strategy to enable regional execution
    • Ownership and influence of EMEA budgets in partnership with regional marketing managers in-line with agreed regional marketing plans.
    • Ownership of EMEA alliance planning to set strategic direction, agree MDF contributions and ROI targets.
    • Tests new marketing initiatives to improve results.

    • Campaign strategies in-line with Rackspace and alliance business goals. planned, coordinated and executed successfully
    • Maximum MDF Budget spent and MDF payments achieved

PERSON SPECIFICATION

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required. (MBA is a plus)
    • Marketing professional with at least 5 years' experience managing revenue-generating Marketing programs and strategies within the tech/cloud industry
    • Experience of Business to Business and Partner co-marketing is essential.
    • Ability to drive strategy and to lead initiatives on behalf of Rackspace and its Alliance Partnerships.
    • Demonstrable ability to deliver creative marketing campaigns and programs in an agile way, on budget and in line with business priorities.
    • Excellent knowledge of and demonstrable experience in marketing program management and the ability to make impactful decisions
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with the agility to respond to new and changing requirements based on both a dynamic market and company environment.
    • Highly motivated, self-driven, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a start-up mentality.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with team members and senior stakeholders
    • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to debate, agree and drive positive outcomes for all
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadlines.
    • Ability to make appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and propose recommendations. To detect patterns, draw conclusions, and present conclusions to internal stakeholders.
    • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
