This role requires, proven experience in marketing management, proficiency in digital marketing tools and software and experience in production planning and project management.

The Marketing and Production Manager is a critical role, which many other colleagues within Digital and Direct Marketing, the Market Engagement and Transformation Department and other departments across the business have key dependencies upon.

This is an established and highly visible role, with lots of interaction with stakeholders, which is requires a positive and solution orientated person. The post holder will need to be available to attend the London Office for at least two days each week.

The role is essentially split into two core functions and requires the ability to be able to confidently use our new Content Management System, along with our wider team to prepare and publish content updates on our websites (please note on occasion this may require some out of hours of work in the event of a new launch or information which is under embargo)

  • Firstly, Marketing Management (60%) Marketing the assets created by the Studio, with a heavy focus on Start Up Loans. There are many exciting opportunities, which is why we need a positive and initiative-taking person. Typical activities include marketing of our content, for example our new guides, templates, check lists, whilst also working on partnerships, broader marketing, project plans, contributing to working groups, ideation sessions etc.
  • Secondly Production Management (40%) supporting in co-ordination of tickets and projects that come into Studio for internal production / overflow (content, creative, design, website, reporting, data, paid media assets, newsletter assets, social assets etc.) This part of the role also includes organising collateral to be delivered and managing a variety of production jobs.
  • Within these above activities, the post holder will also work in our new CMS system across our websites. This typically means working directly on approximately ten tickets per week, some of which are low complexity and others more complex. A ticket for example could be publishing a press release that is under embargo and must go live at a specific time or it could be a volume of new web pages as part of a project or a business update.

This is a very proactive role, which comes with empowerment, autonomy and accountability, so proven experience and ability to hit the ground running is an absolute must.

To be considered for this role you must have experience of digital marketing along with JIRA, CMS and digital asset management systems. You will have an awareness and knowledge of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG2.0) and project and relationship management experience.
