Description
As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and enablement of key operational activities across 20+ SkyShowtime markets. Primarily you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the operational set up, testing and ongoing optimisation of in-product retention user journeys, in particular the cancellation journey, ensuring that the business' rigorous test and learn strategies are executed on time and with accuracy. Experience with A/B testing tools, such as Optimizely, as well as Adobe Analytics is a must. You will also support the Marketing Operations Senior Manager in working closely with key stakeholders across the business and driving forwards journey enhancements and improved capabilities. Other responsibilities will include the management and optimisation of transactional service communications.
The operational function of in product-retention journeys is critical to the commercial success and growth of the business. This is a unique opportunity to work with a broad and varied range of cross-functional teams across the business, from the wider Marketing team, through to Product, Data and Analytics, Finance and Legal. The successful candidate will be a brilliant problem solver with an eye for detail, highly organised and process-driven, and an effective communicator who is able to bring relevant teams together to work collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational set up and testing of in-product retention user journeys, with specific focus on the Cancellation Journey.
- Always-on optimisation of the Cancellation Journey.
- Reporting on journey performance and insights and communicating this back to key stakeholders.
- Business As Usual transactional service communications management and the delivery of new service communications requirements.
- Troubleshoot operations issues and engage appropriate resources as needed to drive issue resolution.
- Manage operational change and report progress, risks and issues.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience with A/B testing tools, such as Optimizely, as well as Adobe Analytics (must).
- Experience of managing marketing operations in a global and multicultural business (desired industries: SVOD, Subscription based services, TV, Entertainment).
- An understanding of marketing-specific operational activities that underpin go to market success.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with Excel, web analytics tools, etc.
- An innate attitude to drive resolution to business problems and ability to communicate status and progress with senior stakeholders
- Has vision, drive, diplomacy and the ability to make things happen in an environment of ambiguity, complexity and multiple stakeholders.
- Initiative to kick-start new processes and make changes in order to improve the status quo.
- A highly collaborative style and able to thrive in a team environment and also work independently.
- Able to build effective relationships and collaborate with a range of individuals at all levels in the organisation.
- Speaking an additional European language is advantageous.
- Experience working across multiple markets and cultures (desired).
