Who we are

Every day, we're the voice of around 45,000 British farmers and growers who produce food, making sure their concerns are heard at the heart of government both online and locally. This means developing strong relationships with everyone from NFU colleagues to government ministers. So, as well as having a high profile in both the media and Westminster, we work with and support local members through a network of regional and county offices across England and Wales.

This role sits within the biggest department in the NFU. There are a plethora of roles that cover multiple disciplines including sales, customer service, legal advice, administration and so much more.

With over half of the roles being on the front line, delivering the best experience possible is our highest priority. Whether that's creating the right first impression for visitors, making outbound calls to seek members views, or helping to answer member queries from the c.50k calls we receive each year.

The remaining roles have a commercial focus to generate non-subscription income for the organisation. This is achieved through selling membership, developing partnerships with discount providers that also supplement the membership offering, delivering paid for services to both members and non-members and selling advertising space in our publications & on our websites.
