The role

This role sits in the M&E Marketing team and plays a vital role in overseeing paid partner marketing campaigns which drive ITV business KPIs across Broadcast and Streaming.

The Partner Marketing Manager (Paid, Conversion) will be responsible for overseeing partner spend across a range of our 3rd party platforms (Amazon, Roku, Samsung, etc). Leveraging our brand, services and content in order to drive our marketing outcomes.

The person in this role will need to work closely with the P&D (Partner & Distribution) team to ensure the successful promotion of our content and drive growth on our priority platforms.

A passion for viewer insight and effectiveness is key in this role, with a focus on ensuring our campaigns are cutting through in the increasingly competitive TV landscape.

Main responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Conversion & Partner Marketing to understand the role that partner activity plays to drive 'conversion' outcomes across acquisition and engagement.
  • Work with the Marketing Insight team and paid media agency to ensure the latest audience, market and performance insights are embedded in all marketing briefs and activity.
  • Work with colleagues in the Partner & Distribution team to ensure marketing activity is aligned with our overall distribution strategy to drive growth on priority platforms.
  • Build and nurture relationships with all our third-party platforms to understand best practices and performance.
  • Regular reporting and understanding of our prominence on all platforms alongside working with the P&D team to implement and embed regular planning and review cycles with all key partners.
  • Ensure that learnings are regularly captured and used to inform future activity and consistency across all areas of the marketing funnel that execute platform marketing plans.
  • Work closely with the Brand team to ensure all Partner marketing activity delivers against our brand positioning and tone of voice.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

  • Collaboration skills, understanding how to work with peers and other business areas to create best in class marketing activity.
  • Understanding of all types of media, with particular experience and specialism in digital and data marketing techniques.
  • A knowledge of both the UK TV market place (and ITV's position within it) and the Connected TV landscape.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate insights and performance to inform the marketing plan.

Other things we're looking for (key criteria)

  • Understanding of the latest changes in viewing trends and different monetisation models (AVOD vs SVOD).
  • An outcome-focused mindset with an understanding of how to use a range of tools, such as econometrics and attribution models, to measure and optimise media performance.
  • A true multitasker who has the ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise projects across different PODs with high levels of attention to detail.
