About the Role
Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of global marketing campaigns. This London-based role requires a marketing professional with a proven track record of designing and executing high-impact multi-channel campaigns, driving brand awareness, and delivering measurable business growth.
This is a key role within the global marketing team, requiring deep expertise in campaign strategy, stakeholder management, and team leadership. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping A&M's marketing efforts, working closely with senior stakeholders and Go-to-Market (GTM) leaders to align marketing strategies with business priorities and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Campaign Leadership
- Develop and execute integrated global marketing campaigns, ensuring a data-driven approach to targeting and messaging across digital, content, events, and PR.
- Define campaign objectives, allocate budgets, and oversee execution, ensuring alignment with both global and regional business priorities.
- Partner closely with GTM leaders to translate business goals into high-impact marketing strategies that support revenue growth and market positioning.
- Own and optimise A&M's global marketing calendar, ensuring strategic alignment between campaigns, business development initiatives, and GTM priorities.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Act as a trusted marketing advisor to senior business leaders and GTM teams, guiding them on campaign strategy, market positioning, and audience engagement.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring team members deliver on key objectives.
- Work cross-functionally with GTM leaders, global marketing colleagues, business unit leaders, and sales teams to drive alignment and maximize campaign impact.
- Build and manage relationships with key external agencies, ensuring campaigns are delivered to the highest standards.
Brand & Market Positioning
- Elevate A&M's brand positioning through compelling, insight-driven marketing campaigns that differentiate the firm in a competitive landscape.
- Ensure that all marketing activities maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all regions and channels.
- Partner with GTM leaders, content, PR, and digital teams to develop and distribute thought leadership and insight-driven content that reinforces A&M's expertise.
Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Establish KPIs for all marketing activities, ensuring rigorous measurement and reporting to assess performance and ROI.
- Continuously refine campaigns based on analytics, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and maximize impact.
- Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership and GTM leaders, offering recommendations for improving marketing effectiveness.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive experience in marketing, with a strong focus on B2B marketing strategy, campaign execution, and stakeholder management.
- Proven leadership experience, managing marketing teams and working with senior executives in a matrixed, global organization.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and multi-channel campaign execution, including paid media, social, CRM, and events.
- Experience within agency, consulting, financial services, or related B2B industries is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, and website CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal).
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple complex campaigns and prioritize effectively.
- A data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse campaign performance and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and influence decision-making at all levels.
