MARKETING MANAGER (OMNICHANNEL D2C FASHION)

Founded in London, in 2010, Glassworks is a fresh London fashion brand - totally independent, style-obsessed and passionate believers in bricks-and-mortar boutiques as well as streamlined digital shopping. Our design-led stores and website are refreshed weekly with limited edition runs of completely new fashion - meaning a constant feed of exciting new stuff to try on, helped along by the most dedicated and on it staff-turned-stylists on the planet. With the recent launch of our USA ecommerce site and fifth retail store, we are focused on scaling our omni channel offering - all whilst maintaining a strong design aesthetic, stylish atmosphere in store and customer first focus.

THE ROLE

The Marketing Manager will plan and execute all marketing activity to meet the commercial and brand objectives for one ecommerce channel and five physical retail stores. The successful candidate will have a mix of creative and analytical skills with a demonstrable track record of setting and achieving marketing KPIs in support of the larger commercial and brand objectives. The Marketing Manager must have strong leadership skills and a performance mindset in directing the weekly output of a team of social media, brand marketing, PR, events and copywriting talent, with support from the Ecommerce Director's performance marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive, develop and implement an omnichannel fashion marketing strategy to effectively drive awareness, engagement and revenue across digital and physical sales channels.

This is a new position in the company and as such, we are open to a range of proposals from full time and part time candidates. We are also open to a hybrid work arrangement, but you must have a part time physical presence in London to lead the team on the ground.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define the annual marketing strategy for the brand including the launch strategy and execution for each product/campaign in line with the overall strategy and commercial/strategic business objectives
  • Set and track KPIs across all channels and department talent with a cycle of smart campaign planning, execution and post-campaign analysis to ensure that marketing campaigns become increasingly effective vs. the objectives
  • Lead a cross functional team in the development of best-in-class activation/communication across marketing/content calendar management, social media channel management, community management, events management, in store brand/activation management, PR campaign management and affiliate program management, influencer/ambassador programme management
  • Ensure that all marketing materials (including brand packaging) are on brand and on message across the digital and physical channels and drive the team to develop and enhance these materials in store and online
  • Identify and activate new growth levers on the brand to ensure that the team hits and exceeds growth targets
  • Drive a culture that balances business as usual with experimentation across all available marketing channels including content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, email marketing, and copywriting
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • You have 3-5 years experience in industry-related marketing. D2C digital experience is required. Omnichannel experience is a plus.
  • Prior Line Management experience is a must
  • You have a strong working knowledge of content strategy and understand how to translate knowledge into effective digital content
  • You are someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, works through challenges and has a "can-do" attitude
  • You have outstanding organisation and project management skills
  • You are data-driven with a good understanding of digital marketing metrics
  • You take pride in your creative ability and strong visual eye. You know what makes a good product, and people seek your opinion on product selection.
  • Perfect spoken and written English with an excellent eye for detail
  • Proven track record of using data and analytics to make informed stock forecasting decisions
