Marketing Manager - Events
This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.
We're looking for a creative, confident Events Marketing Manager who can hit the ground running and make things happen.
At Zaizi, we design and build secure, user-centred digital services that make the UK safer and stronger. Our marketing team is small but mighty - and we're looking for someone who can take full ownership of how we show up at events and through digital campaigns.
This isn't a logistics or venue-booking role. We need a marketer - someone who can turn events into integrated, lead-generating marketing moments that drive real business impact. This is a hands-on role with freedom built in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate B2B public-sector conferences, memberships, and expos - present recommendations on which we should attend or sponsor, and why.
- Create and deliver multi-channel event campaigns using email, social media, paid ads, blogs, and eye-catching creative that build awareness and generate MQLs.
- Plan and run 2-3 Zaizi-hosted events a year (breakfast briefings, roundtables, or dinners) - intimate, high-impact experiences for our clients and partners.
- Work with Sales and Delivery to choose attendees, brief speakers, and align on objectives - then follow up with lead nurture and post-event reporting.
- Build and update WordPress landing pages, manage HubSpot workflows, and report on campaign performance.
- Design and write event assets - banners, adverts, email creatives, and social content - using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite or other design tools.
- Capture event moments (photos, videos, insights) and turn them into blogs, white papers, and follow-up campaigns.
- Use AI tools to enhance copy, insights, and reporting for faster, smarter marketing execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B marketing - ideally within tech, consultancy, or digital environments.
- Confident using HubSpot, WordPress, and social ad platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, X).
- Skilled at writing, designing, and managing campaigns end-to-end.
- Commercial and data-driven mindset - you care about engagement, MQLs, and ROI.
- Proactive, self-sufficient, and ready to own the role without hand-holding.
- A creative, curious thinker who loves finding new ways to make events matter.
- Strong project management, organisational, and supplier management skills.
- Strong creative skills with Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency to produce branded event materials.
You don't meet all the requirements?
Studies show that women and black, Asian and minority ethnic people are less likely to apply for a job unless they meet every qualification.
