About the Role

Base Location: Flexible UK & Ireland | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK and Ireland.

Salary: £47,600 - £71,600 +performance-related bonus+ a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

As ourMarketing Manager - Communications & Operations, you will:

- lead in the adoption of a customer centric approach, delivering best in class customer communications, to drive positive customer experience

- build and lead a high-performing, cross-border team that is motivated, creative, cross trained across customer segments and jurisdictions, who seek out process and customer experience improvements

- deliver all operational comms in support of the ECS business, driving base engagement and retention, to include operational letters, emails, collateral and the associated management of same

- be a trusted marketing communications advisor and interface with stakeholders from Sales, Service and Regulation teams, advising on customer communications and engagement strategies

- report on team performance

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- the proven ability to embed a performance culture across cross-border teams by ensuring targets are specific, measurable and constantly monitored

- a deep understanding of customer communications, best practice models, EDM/DM strategies, renewals, processes and industry

- proven relationship building and stakeholder management skills

- demonstrable experience in a Below the Line marketing role

- a results-oriented mindset, with the ability to make decisions quickly when necessary and the resilience to challenge / be challenged
